I am a 17-year old Black girl who loves to read, venture into handcrafts, watch anime, delve into mini-projects, and write my thoughts out. I started this page because I wanted a platform to share my personal ideas out to the world and my adventures as I grow.

For the curious, who are wondering about the creation of my name. Tyra the Turtle comes with the ease of saying the name; in addition, turtles being one of my favorite animals. The turtle, I deem, is a hard-working animal that though actions may be longer or harder for them, they keep on going. Turtles are durable and I am durable to the situations I encounter.
